SHEQ Trainee – Safety, Health, Environment & Quality

About the role

Join Epiroc West Africa as a SHEQ Trainee and gain hands‑on experience supporting safety, health, environment and quality initiatives across offices, workshops, warehouses and field sites in Burkina Faso. You will work alongside seasoned professionals to help the company meet ISO 45001, ISO 14001 and ISO 9001 standards.

Key responsibilities

• Support daily SHEQ operations, ensuring safe work practices and PPE compliance.
• Assist with risk assessments, incident reporting and CAPA tracking.
• Contribute to environmental management activities such as waste monitoring and inspections.
• Help maintain quality management through document control, internal audits and KPI tracking.
• Participate in SHEQ training, inductions, toolbox talks and preparation of awareness materials.
• Maintain SHEQ records, compile reports and dashboards, and provide general administrative support.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety or a related field.
• Basic understanding of HSE/SHEQ principles and interest in ISO 45001, ISO 14001 and ISO 9001.
• Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
• Comfortable working in industrial, workshop, warehouse and field environments.
• Proficient in English, both written and spoken.
