Fleet Manager – Heavy Equipment (Burkina Faso)

About the role

The Fleet Manager will lead the technical service team responsible for maintaining heavy equipment used in public works, mining and transport across Burkina Faso. The role ensures equipment reliability, compliance with safety standards and fulfillment of customer service agreements.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prioritize and implement service activities to meet maintenance contracts and service‑level agreements.
• Develop, evaluate and review technical service procedures, monitor costs and optimise resources.
• Ensure HSE standards are applied, conduct risk analyses and safety briefings for all tasks.
• Estimate costs, time and resources for installations, upgrades and other technical services, and monitor progress against work orders.

Required profile

• 5‑10 years of experience with mechanical/electrical diesel‑traction equipment, preferably in heavy haulage or mining.
• Proven experience with Komatsu heavy equipment and equipment management in a mining environment.
• International business experience and ability to work across different cultures.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Experience working in Africa or as an expatriate is preferred.
• Strong problem‑solving, planning and stress‑management abilities.
