Head of Marketing (Burkina Faso)

About the role

We are looking for a Head of Marketing who is both strategic and execution‑oriented, capable of building and leading a high‑performing marketing function while driving sustainable growth as we scale in Burkina Faso. You will own the local marketing strategy, align it with business growth targets, and partner with the General Manager and functional leads.

Key responsibilities

• Own and execute the local marketing strategy aligned with growth targets and brand ambition.
• Serve as the strategic marketing partner to the General Manager and functional leads (Operations, Sales, Support, Product).
• Lead marketing planning, budgeting, resource allocation and ROI accountability.
• Collaborate with the group marketing team to align market, product and brand strategies with global direction.
• Oversee full‑funnel campaigns across ATL, BTL and social media for Burkina Faso.
• Develop clear processes and documentation to guide cross‑functional project delivery.
• Lead market intelligence efforts including consumer insights, brand health and channel performance.

Required profile

• Degree in marketing, communication, business or related field.
• At least 12 years of marketing experience, including 5+ years in leadership with team and budget responsibility.
• Proven track record of leading large‑scale, multi‑channel marketing strategies with measurable commercial impact.
• Experience managing significant marketing budgets with strong ROI discipline.
• Fluent in French and English.
