YouTube Strategist – Remote

About the role

We are looking for a data‑driven YouTube Strategist to own and grow our channel presence. Working remotely, you will shape the end‑to‑end video content pipeline, from audience research to post‑publish performance analysis, turning the channel into a powerful brand and revenue engine.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute long‑term YouTube content strategies aligned with business goals, optimizing for search and suggested video algorithms.
• Conduct audience and competitor research to identify trending topics and high‑value opportunities.
• Guide writers, videographers and editors, ensuring titles, descriptions, tags and thumbnails are optimized for maximum click‑through rates.
• Monitor key metrics (retention, CTR, watch time, subscriber growth) in YouTube Studio and translate insights into actionable improvements.
• Maintain an editorial calendar and streamline production workflows for consistent, high‑quality output.
• Collaborate with social media, paid ads and product marketing teams to integrate YouTube content across channels.
• Identify and pursue monetization options such as brand sponsorships and merchandise integrations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media or equivalent practical experience.
• Proven track record of growing YouTube channels, supported by a portfolio or case studies.
• Deep, up‑to‑date knowledge of the YouTube algorithm, SEO best practices and community guidelines.
• Strong analytical ability to turn YouTube Analytics data into strategic recommendations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for briefing creative teams.
