Sales Trainee Academy (STAR) – Field Educational Consultant Training

About the role

The Sales Trainee Academy (STAR) is a structured training and internship program designed to develop future Field Educational Consultants for Ruangguru. Participants undergo a one‑week intensive training followed by 2‑3 weeks of on‑the‑job training (OJT) to acquire professional sales skills and contribute to improving education quality across Indonesia.

Key responsibilities

• Attend a one‑week training led by experienced mentors to learn Ruangguru’s products and sales methodology.
• Apply training concepts during OJT by conducting outreach to schools, parents, and educational institutions.
• Present Ruangguru’s learning solutions, answer queries, and build relationships with prospects.
• Achieve assigned sales targets and report progress to supervisors.
• Provide feedback on market needs to help refine educational offerings.

Required profile

• Minimum education: D3 or S1 (or equivalent).
• Willingness to work onsite at the assigned location.
• Confident, persistent, disciplined, responsible and target‑oriented.
• Comfortable speaking in public and presenting to groups.
• Own a personal laptop and smartphone for work purposes.
