Remote IT & Systems Engineer (International)

About the role

A fully remote IT & Systems Engineer position open to international candidates, supporting and improving the company's internal technology infrastructure. The role suits someone who enjoys troubleshooting complex technical issues, building and maintaining automations, supporting development initiatives and improving systems and workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to technical issues with urgency and ownership
• Design, build and maintain automations to improve business processes and efficiency
• Develop, maintain and troubleshoot internal applications and integrations
• Write, optimize and maintain SQL queries, stored procedures and database structures
• Support and maintain cloud infrastructure and DevOps processes, including CI/CD pipelines
• Assist with deployments, version control and release management
• Troubleshoot application, server, network and database issues and monitor system performance
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, document systems and follow security best practices

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in software development, systems engineering, DevOps or a similar technical role
• Strong SQL, API-based automations and scripting, and knowledge of C#, JavaScript, Python or Java
• Git, cloud platforms (Azure, AWS or Google Cloud), Windows Server, networking and system administration
• Excellent troubleshooting, English communication and ability to handle multiple projects
• Preferred: Docker/Kubernetes, PowerShell or Bash, third-party integrations, Microsoft 365/Azure AD, remote team support and U.S. company experience
