Local Purchasing and Facility Trainee

About the role

The Local Purchasing and Facility Trainee will support the Operations team in daily procurement, fleet, and facility coordination activities while gaining hands‑on experience in these areas. Based primarily in the office, the role also involves occasional visits to operational or customer sites as needed.

Key responsibilities

• Support procurement processes, including creating purchase orders, following up with suppliers, and maintaining documentation.
• Maintain procurement databases, supplier records, and filing systems.
• Assist with supplier communications, quotations, deliveries, and invoice tracking.
• Monitor fleet and facility records, maintenance schedules, and compliance documentation.
• Coordinate with service providers to ensure safe and operational facilities.
• Provide general administrative support to the Procurement, Fleet, and Facilities team.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Procurement, or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
• Good communication skills in French and/or English.
• Interest in procurement, logistics, and facility operations.
