Inventory Clerk

About the role

We are looking for a mission‑driven Inventory Clerk to join our fast‑growing fintech team in Ouagadougou. Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will manage daily inventory operations and support procurement activities as we scale across Africa.

Key responsibilities

• Verify quantity and quality of received items against packing lists and report discrepancies.
• Organise new arrivals, ensure safe storage, and maintain accurate stock records.
• Track internal stock requests and deliver items promptly to requesters.
• Perform regular demand forecasting and keep stock above alert thresholds.
• Coordinate with procurement for timely restocking and oversee periodic inventory counts.
• Monitor vendor order status and delivery timelines, ensuring alignment with internal teams.
• Provide administrative support for procurement documentation and maintain the inventory database in collaboration with Finance.
• Execute ad‑hoc tasks within the procurement team as needed.

Required profile

• Detail‑oriented and able to work independently under supervision.
• Strong organisational skills with a focus on accuracy.
• Good communication skills to liaise with internal departments and external vendors.
• Willingness to travel to field locations when required.
