About the role
PalmPay is seeking an HR Specialist to lead core human‑resources functions for its Burkina Faso office. You will partner with business leaders to attract talent, support employee relations, manage performance, ensure compliance, and drive HR operations that align with the company’s growth objectives.
Key responsibilities
- Partner with managers to understand hiring needs and execute end‑to‑end recruitment for all roles.
- Develop and promote employer branding and maintain a talent pipeline.
- Act as the primary HR contact for employees, handling relations issues and fostering engagement.
- Oversee onboarding, integration of new hires, and continuous employee development.
- Implement performance management processes, including goal setting, appraisals, and feedback.
- Identify training needs and coordinate learning initiatives.
- Maintain accurate employee records, HR systems, payroll coordination, and benefits administration.
- Ensure compliance with Burkina Faso labour laws and internal HR policies.
- Support audits, liaise with external regulators, and provide HR insights to leadership.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in fintech, banking, or a fast‑paced environment.
- Proven expertise in recruitment, employee relations, and HR operations.
- Strong knowledge of local labour regulations in Burkina Faso.
