Gender Equality & Social Inclusion Specialist (Non-Key Expert)

About the role

NTU International is preparing a proposal for the Africa‑EU Space Partnership Programme (AESPP Boost) and seeks a highly qualified Non‑Key Expert to integrate gender equality and social inclusion considerations across programme activities, ensuring inclusive participation and equitable access to opportunities generated through Africa‑EU space cooperation.

Required profile

• University master’s degree in gender studies, social sciences, development studies or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of professional experience in gender equality, social inclusion or inclusive development in international cooperation.
• At least 4 years of experience designing and applying gender‑responsive approaches in donor‑funded programmes.
• Excellent command of English; working knowledge of French and/or Portuguese is an asset.

Required skills

• Gender analysis and development of sex‑disaggregated indicators.
• Design and facilitation of inclusive stakeholder participation.
• Gender‑responsive training and communication.
• Familiarity with EU external‑action gender policy; experience in Africa is an asset.
