Field Deputy Finance Coordinator

About the role

The Field Deputy Finance Coordinator supports the Finance Coordinator in delivering robust financial management for the mission. Working within the operational context of MSF, the role ensures finance strategies, policies and internal controls are effectively applied to provide transparent and reliable financial information.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Finance Coordinator in defining and coordinating finance strategies for the mission.
• Monitor implementation of finance policies, internal control procedures and legal financial requirements.
• Ensure compliance with MSF protocols, standards and procedures across all financial activities.
• Provide accurate, transparent and timely financial reports to MSF headquarters and external partners.
• Support the allocation and tracking of resources across projects to guarantee financial accountability.

Required profile

• Experience in finance administration within humanitarian or development settings.
• Strong understanding of financial policies, internal controls and legal compliance.
• Ability to work in challenging operational environments and adapt to contextual changes.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.

Required skills

• Familiarity with MSF finance protocols and internal control standards.
