Avionics Engineer – AS332/EC225

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Avionics Engineer to maintain and enhance the avionics systems of the AS332/EC225 Super Puma. You will play a critical role in ensuring mission‑ready performance, safety, and compliance in a high‑performance rotor‑wing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver mission‑ready aircraft on schedule, ensuring airworthiness according to OEM and Aircraft Maintenance Manual (AMM) procedures.
• Diagnose and rectify avionics and electrical faults quickly and effectively.
• Order, track, and manage spare parts to support both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance.
• Maintain tool control and uphold worksite safety standards.
• Apply Airworthiness Directives, Service Bulletins, Customer Service Notices, and Supplemental Structural Inspections to the AS332 platform.
• Support internal and external audits, providing accurate records and technical inputs.
• Document all work in compliance with SACAA, OEM, and company requirements.

Required profile

• Strong problem‑solving ability, capable of identifying issues and implementing practical solutions under pressure.
• Attention to detail and commitment to safety and regulatory compliance.
• Ability to work effectively in a team‑oriented, mission‑driven environment.

Required skills

• Avionics troubleshooting for navigation, communication, autopilot, and mission equipment.
• Proficiency with Airbus Helicopters documentation and the Aircraft Maintenance Manual.
• Use of diagnostic tools and spare‑parts management systems.
• Knowledge of SACAA regulations and international aviation standards.
• Implementation of Airworthiness Directives and related service bulletins.
