Avionics Engineer – AS332/EC225

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Avionics Engineer to maintain and enhance the avionics systems of the AS332/EC225 Super Puma helicopters. You will work on a mission‑driven team, ensuring aircraft are airworthy, compliant, and ready for high‑performance operations in Western Africa.

Key responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance in line with Airbus Helicopters documentation and the Aircraft Maintenance Manual (AMM).
• Diagnose and rectify avionics and electrical faults quickly and accurately.
• Order, track, and manage spare parts to avoid maintenance delays.
• Maintain tool control and uphold worksite safety standards.
• Apply Airworthiness Directives, Alert Service Bulletins, Customer Service Notices, and Supplemental Structural Inspections.
• Support internal and external audits, providing accurate records and technical inputs.
• Ensure all work is documented per SACAA, OEM, and company procedures.

Required profile

• Strong problem‑solving ability, able to identify issues and implement practical solutions under pressure.
• Attention to detail and commitment to safety and regulatory compliance.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a dedicated maintenance team.

Required skills

• Avionics troubleshooting for AS332/EC225 systems (navigation, communication, autopilot, mission equipment).
• Implementation of Airworthiness Directives (ADs) and related service bulletins.
• Proficiency with Aircraft Maintenance Manual (AMM) procedures.
• Knowledge of SACAA and international aviation regulations.
