Agent Operations Regional Lead

About the role

Wave is expanding its agent network across Burkina Faso and is looking for a Regional Lead to drive growth, ensure compliance, and maintain operational excellence. Reporting to the Agent Ops Lead, you will oversee the acquisition, activation, and performance of agents in the region.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and acquire new agents in line with selection criteria and regional targets.
• Ensure all agents sign valid contracts, receive proper training, and understand compliance requirements.
• Coordinate agent activation, branding, and supply delivery.
• Monitor cash and e‑value liquidity at agents in partnership with Liquidity and Quality teams.
• Conduct routine risk assessments, performance reporting, and site visits.
• Manage agent churn, including closure processes, equipment recovery, and removal of branding.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for the agent network and Wave products in the region.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing agent or field operations teams.
• Strong understanding of compliance, KYC, AML/CTF procedures.
• Ability to analyze performance data and drive corrective actions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
