Network Support Engineer – Burkina Faso

About the role

We are seeking a Network Support Engineer to ensure the reliability, performance and availability of our network infrastructure. The role involves troubleshooting, maintaining equipment and supporting daily network operations for our organization in Burkina Faso.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first and second‑level support for network incidents and service requests.
• Troubleshoot IP addressing, DNS, DHCP, VLANs and routing issues.
• Configure and support routers, switches, firewalls and wireless access points.
• Monitor network performance, respond to alerts and resolve outages.
• Maintain ticket updates and documentation for all incidents.
• Collaborate with internal IT teams to resolve complex problems.
• Assist with network maintenance, upgrades and implementation projects.
• Communicate status and resolution of issues in a timely manner.

Required profile

• 2–5 years of experience in network support or a similar role.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, switching, DNS and DHCP.
• Experience with Cisco or comparable networking equipment.
• Familiarity with network monitoring tools and ticketing systems.
• Relevant certifications such as CCNA or CompTIA Network+ are a plus.
• Basic knowledge of Windows Server environments and Active Directory is advantageous.
