Full‑time Farmer – Field Operations in Niangoloko

About the role

The Farmer will work full‑time on‑site in Niangoloko, carrying out all stages of crop production for Big Field Corporation. You will prepare the land, plant high‑quality seeds, monitor growth and ensure harvests meet the company’s quality and sustainability standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare fields and plant seeds according to company guidelines.
• Monitor soil and plant health, applying fertilizers and crop‑protection products as directed.
• Irrigate fields and operate basic farm tools and equipment.
• Harvest crops, maintain cleanliness and safety around farm areas.
• Accurately report field conditions and yields to supervisors.
• Collaborate with team members to follow schedules, meet production targets and support quality and sustainability standards.

Required profile

• Practical farming skills, including field preparation, planting, crop care and harvesting.
• Basic knowledge of soil health, water management and sustainable agricultural practices.
• Ability to safely use and maintain common farm tools and equipment.
• Physical ability to perform outdoor manual work in varying weather conditions.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical instructions and safety procedures.
• Effective teamwork and communication skills.
• Prior experience in crop farming or agricultural work is preferred.
• Willingness to learn improved farming techniques and adapt to new seed varieties.
