Dioula Transcription & Annotation Specialist (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a Dioula Transcription & Annotation Specialist to work remotely on video content for language model training. The role involves converting spoken Dioula and English material into accurate written transcripts, enriching them with detailed annotations that capture tone, intent, and linguistic nuances.

Key responsibilities

• Transcribe video recordings in Dioula and English with high accuracy.
• Insert precise timestamps for each segment to enable easy reference.
• Analyze and describe speakers’ emotional tone, intent, and non‑verbal cues.
• Evaluate and comment on grammar, syntax, and tone in both languages.
• Define conceptual meanings of words and expressions to support AI understanding.
• Collaborate with the client’s team to ensure deliverables meet quality and linguistic standards.

Required profile

• Fluent in Dioula and English, with excellent written and verbal communication.
• Proven experience in linguistics, translation, or transcription involving both languages.
• Ability to capture and articulate emotionality, tone, and intent in spoken content.
• Strong analytical skills for grammar evaluation and language feedback.
• Attention to detail in timestamping and note‑taking.
