Dioula Linguistic Specialist – Remote Contract

About the role

We are seeking a Dioula Linguistic Specialist to support AI language model training. This remote contract position involves high‑quality transcription and linguistic analysis of bilingual video content.

Key responsibilities

• Transcribe video material in Dioula and English with precise timestamps.
• Identify and document emotional tone, intent, and non‑verbal cues of speakers.
• Evaluate and critique grammar, syntax, and tone in both languages.
• Define conceptual meanings of words and expressions to enrich AI understanding.
• Collaborate with the client’s team to ensure linguistic standards and deliverable quality.

Required profile

• Fluent in Dioula and English with excellent written and verbal communication.
• Proven experience in linguistics, translation, or transcription involving both languages.
• Ability to capture and articulate emotional nuance and speaker intent.
• Strong analytical skills for grammar evaluation and detailed feedback.
• Familiarity with transcription tools and meticulous timestamping.
