Resources Management Officer (RMO) – Mobility EOI

About the role

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) is seeking a Resources Management Officer (RMO) to support its Burkina Faso Country Office and any sub‑offices. Reporting to the Chief of Mission and working closely with the Senior Regional Resources Management Officer, the RMO will oversee financial, treasury, and administrative functions to ensure efficient and compliant use of resources.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and oversee financial management for all country office activities, ensuring expenditures align with donor agreements.
• Conduct financial analysis of programmes, prepare budget reports, and review monthly accounts.
• Manage treasury functions, forecast cash flows, and validate fund disbursements.
• Assist the Chief of Mission and project managers in preparing budgets for new projects and programmes.
• Provide technical support throughout project cycles to maintain compliance with IOM policies.

Required profile

• Relevant experience in financial management, budgeting, and treasury operations, preferably in an international or UN‑related environment.
• Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively with senior staff and external partners.
• Familiarity with IOM regulations and donor compliance requirements.
