Remote Video Game Composer (Full‑time/Contract)

About the role

We are looking for a visionary Video Game Composer to create dynamic, immersive scores that elevate our upcoming titles. Working remotely, you will define the sonic identity of our games, crafting thematic material that aligns with narrative, characters, and environments.

Key responsibilities

• Compose and produce original high‑quality musical scores ranging from ambient tracks to combat and cinematic themes.
• Develop interactive, adaptive music layers that respond to player actions and changing in‑game environments.
• Collaborate with narrative designers, producers, and sound designers to ensure music complements mood and pacing.
• Implement musical assets into the game engine and audio middleware (e.g., Wwise, FMOD) with seamless loops and transitions.
• Iterate quickly on musical ideas based on feedback and playtesting.
• Organize, label, and deliver all audio files according to technical specifications and schedules.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of professional experience composing music for video games with a strong, diverse portfolio.
• Fully equipped professional home studio capable of delivering studio‑standard audio.
• Excellent communication skills for virtual collaboration and ability to meet tight deadlines.

Required skills

• Proficiency with DAWs such as Logic Pro, Cubase, Ableton Live, or Pro Tools.
• Experience integrating music into Unity or Unreal Engine.
• Knowledge of audio middleware tools like Wwise or FMOD.
• Strong grasp of music theory, orchestration, arrangement, and virtual instrument libraries.
