Remote Dioula Bilingual Transcriptionist (Contract)

About the role

We are looking for a highly skilled bilingual expert to transcribe video content in Dioula and English. This remote contract position offers flexible hours ranging from 10 to 40 per week, allowing you to work from anywhere while contributing to advanced language model training.

Key responsibilities

• Transcribe video recordings accurately in both Dioula and English.
• Insert precise timestamps for every transcribed segment.
• Analyze and describe speakers' emotional tone, intent, and non‑verbal cues.
• Evaluate and critique grammar, syntax, and overall tone to improve AI language models.
• Define and elaborate on conceptual meanings of words and expressions used.
• Collaborate with the client’s team to ensure all deliverables meet quality and linguistic standards.

Required profile

• Fluency in Dioula and English with excellent written and verbal communication.
• Proven experience in linguistics, translation, or transcription involving both languages.
• Ability to capture and articulate emotional nuance and speaker intent.
• Strong analytical mindset for grammar assessment and feedback.
