About the role

Geocrest Burkina is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to lead the delivery of engineering and construction projects within the mining sector. The successful candidate will combine strong technical expertise with leadership abilities to ensure projects meet quality, safety, and schedule requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the planning, execution, and close‑out of mining‑related engineering and construction projects.
• Manage QA/QC processes to guarantee compliance with project specifications and standards.
• Supervise geotechnical laboratory activities and field testing programs.
• Prepare comprehensive technical reports and documentation.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, including civil, geotechnical, and construction specialists.
• Ensure adherence to HSSEQ policies and promote safe work practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Geology, Geotechnical Engineering or a related field.
• 8–10 years of proven experience in project management and execution within the mining or heavy‑construction industry.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams and manage complex technical projects.
• Commitment to high standards of quality, safety, and environmental stewardship.
