Expediting & Purchasing Officer

About the role

The Expediting & Purchasing Officer is responsible for end‑to‑end order management, from creation to receipt in local stock, including customs clearance. The role requires close collaboration with sales, project teams and internal logistics to ensure timely delivery of parts, components and equipment according to customer priorities.

Key responsibilities

• Manage relationships with ESB and local suppliers on an operational level.
• Follow up OEM orders daily and coordinate with ESB Operations.
• Ensure on‑time delivery of parts, components and equipment to internal and external customers.
• Update ERP with incoming delivery information and continuously track ETA data.
• Perform customs activities, including clearance, warehouse movements and import‑export documentation.
• Handle parts and equipment shipments to and from mining sites or other customer operations.
• Track import costs and maintain complete paper and electronic archives.
• Select and evaluate local non‑OEM suppliers and monitor price/quantity controls.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of the supply chain.
