EU‑Africa Space Policy & Institutional Expert (Non‑Key)

About the role

We are looking for a highly qualified expert to support policy dialogue, institutional cooperation, programme governance and coordination between European and African stakeholders in the space sector. The role will contribute to strengthening the Africa‑EU Space Partnership Programme.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate policy dialogue and institutional cooperation between EU and African Union bodies.
• Support programme governance, steering mechanisms and inter‑institutional coordination.
• Provide advisory input on EU space policy and African space governance architecture, including AfSA and AUC/RECs.
• Contribute to knowledge exchange, innovation initiatives and private‑sector engagement within the partnership.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in international relations, public policy, law, political science, space policy or a related field.
• Excellent command of English; working knowledge of French and/or Portuguese is an asset.
• Minimum 8 years of professional experience in international cooperation, public policy or institutional advisory work.
• At least 4 years of experience with EU and/or African Union policy frameworks, inter‑institutional dialogue, steering mechanisms or programme governance.
