Bilingual Dioula & English Transcriptionist (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for a bilingual expert fluent in Dioula and English to transcribe video content remotely. The role supports AI language model training by providing accurate, timestamped transcripts and detailed linguistic analysis.

Key responsibilities

• Transcribe video material in Dioula and English with high accuracy.
• Insert precise timestamps for each segment to enable easy reference.
• Analyze and describe speakers' emotional tone, intent, and non‑verbal cues.
• Evaluate grammar, syntax, and tone, offering feedback to improve language models.
• Define and elaborate on conceptual meanings of words and expressions.
• Collaborate with the client’s team to ensure quality and linguistic standards are met.

Required profile

• Fluency in both Dioula and English, both written and spoken.
• Proven experience in linguistics, translation, or transcription involving these languages.
• Ability to capture emotional nuance and intent in spoken content.
• Strong attention to detail for timestamping and note‑taking.
• Analytical mindset for grammar assessment and language feedback.
