Bambara Language Expert – Remote

About the role

We are looking for a native or near‑native Bambara speaker to join our remote team as a language expert. You will help ensure that our AI‑driven language products are accurate, culturally relevant, and of high quality.

Key responsibilities

• Translate content to and from Bambara with high accuracy.
• Edit and proofread Bambara language data for consistency.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to annotate, evaluate, and improve language datasets.
• Develop and review linguistic resources such as glossaries and written materials.
• Provide insights on Bambara idioms, nuances, and cultural context.
• Contribute linguistic expertise to improve AI language models.
• Deliver tasks on time while meeting quality standards.

Required profile

• Native or near‑native proficiency in Bambara, both written and verbal.
• Strong experience in translation, editing, or related linguistic work.
• Ability to translate complex concepts accurately and fluently.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to linguistic accuracy.
• Familiarity with language data or AI‑related tools and platforms.
• Self‑motivated and able to work independently in a remote environment.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
