Video Editor (Remote) – Create Engaging Content for AI SaaS

About the role

Base360.ai is looking for a talented Video Editor to bring its AI‑driven short‑term rental platform to life through compelling visual storytelling. You will transform raw footage, product recordings, and founder interviews into launch films, social content, and ads that capture attention and drive results.

Key responsibilities

• Edit product launches and brand films that blend storytelling, product demos, and strong visual direction.
• Create founder‑led content from interviews, talking‑head footage, and behind‑the‑scenes moments.
• Produce short‑form videos for Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and LinkedIn with powerful hooks and purposeful pacing.
• Build paid‑ad creative with variations in openings, messaging, and calls‑to‑action.
• Bring the product to life using screen recordings, motion graphics, kinetic typography, and clear visual explanations.
• Own post‑production tasks including footage selection, editing, colour grading, sound design, music, captions, and final exports.
• Leverage AI creative tools (Runway, Kling, Sora, ElevenLabs) to generate supporting visuals, voiceovers, and other assets.
• Maintain a consistent visual identity across formats and channels.
• Improve content using performance insights such as retention, watch time, and conversion data.

Required profile

• Strong portfolio demonstrating storytelling, editing craft, and visual taste.
• Proficiency with Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut Pro, plus motion‑design skills in After Effects or equivalent.
• Ability to hook viewers within the first three seconds and shape concise, compelling narratives from longer recordings.
• Understanding of how music, silence, sound effects, and pacing influence emotion.
• Comfortable integrating AI tools (Runway, Kling, Sora, ElevenLabs) into the creative workflow.
• Independent work style, meets deadlines, and responds well to direct feedback.
• Attention to detail that balances speed with high‑quality, polished output.
