Trust and Safety Analyst

About the role

The Trust and Safety Analyst safeguards the platform by detecting, assessing, and mitigating harmful content and behavior. Working remotely, you will enforce community standards, investigate policy violations, and support users facing abuse or harassment.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct thorough investigations of complex safety reports, including harassment, hate speech, misinformation, and illegal content.
• Apply and interpret internal policies with high accuracy, identifying gaps and recommending updates.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering to improve detection tools and reduce harmful content at scale.
• Analyze data to uncover new abuse vectors such as spam, scams, and coordinated inauthentic behavior.
• Handle high‑priority escalations, law‑enforcement requests, and crisis situations while protecting user privacy.
• Provide insights and trend analysis to Policy, Product, and Legal teams.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Trust & Safety, Risk Operations, or Intelligence Analysis within the tech/social‑media sector.
• Strong emotional intelligence and proven self‑care strategies for exposure to disturbing content.
• Fluent English with excellent written communication skills.
• Ability to make rapid, high‑stakes decisions with incomplete information.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Trust & Safety platforms such as Salesforce and Jira.
• Experience using moderation dashboards and AI‑assisted safety tools.
• Data‑visualisation skills with Tableau or Looker.
• Basic SQL for extracting and interpreting safety metrics.
