Supply Chain & Procurement Sr. Professional

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Supply Chain & Procurement professional to join Umicore’s General Supply Chain & Procurement team. In this role you will help drive supplier development, negotiate contracts, and ensure high‑quality, timely delivery of materials that support our advanced materials and recycling business.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver expert work within the General SC & P team, ensuring high quality and timeliness.
• Own complex tasks in supplier development and negotiation, producing accurate outputs and proactively identifying risks or anomalies.
• Analyze problems, recommend options and implement improvements in methods, tools or data flows.
• Collaborate with adjacent teams and stakeholders, communicating insights and recommendations clearly.
• Mentor less experienced colleagues, reviewing deliverables and elevating team standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience in supply chain and procurement, preferably at a senior level.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to identify risks and propose effective solutions.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across functions.
• Ability to mentor and develop junior team members.
