Private Sector Engagement Expert – Space Partnership

About the role

NTU International is seeking a Private Sector Engagement Expert to support the Africa‑EU Space Partnership Programme (AESPP Boost). The role focuses on strengthening private‑sector participation, business development, innovation and investment across African and European space ecosystems.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and engage companies, entrepreneurs and investors to foster collaboration in the space, geospatial and technology sectors.
• Conduct market and value‑chain analyses to uncover commercial opportunities and investment needs.
• Facilitate matchmaking, business support and access‑to‑finance activities for stakeholders.
• Promote knowledge exchange and policy dialogue between African and EU partners.
• Contribute to the design and implementation of private‑sector engagement strategies within the AESPP Boost project.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in economics, business administration, engineering, innovation management or a related field (or four additional years of relevant experience).
• Minimum 8 years of professional experience in private‑sector development, industrial cooperation, innovation, business development or investment facilitation.
• At least 4 years of experience directly engaging companies, entrepreneurs or investors, including market analysis, matchmaking and financing support.
• Strong command of English; working knowledge of French or Portuguese is an asset.
• Experience in the space, geospatial or technology sector and familiarity with African markets is highly relevant.
