Partnership Facilitator II (Tenkodogo)

About the role

The Partnership Facilitator II serves as Compassion’s primary liaison with local churches in Tenkodogo, strengthening their capacity to serve children and youth. Working independently on moderately complex projects, the incumbent nurtures respectful, trust‑based relationships and drives church‑owned strategies that enhance local ownership and resource mobilization.

Key responsibilities

• Advocate for children’s needs and integrate child‑protection considerations into all decisions.
• Facilitate the Partner Management core process to improve church outcomes and promote a developmental mindset.
• Collaborate with church partners to co‑create strategies that engage parents, caregivers, and youth in program design, resource mobilization, and decision‑making.
• Identify capacity‑development needs of pastors and church staff and coordinate support from the Church Facing Team.
• Support churches in mobilizing and sharing local resources, building alliances, and maximizing impact for children and youth.
• Report any concerns of abuse, neglect, or exploitation through Compassion’s internal processes.

Required profile

• Demonstrated commitment to child protection and adherence to Compassion’s Code of Conduct.
• Experience working with faith‑based organizations or community partners in a development context.
• Ability to work independently, coach junior facilitators, and manage moderately complex projects.
• Strong interpersonal skills to build mutual respect and trust with church partners.
