Partnership Facilitator II – Church Partnerships (Burkina Faso)

About the role

The Partnership Facilitator II serves as Compassion's primary liaison with local churches in Bogande, Burkina Faso. The role focuses on strengthening church ownership, capacity, and resources to serve children and youth in their own context.

Key responsibilities

• Advocate for children’s needs and uphold Compassion’s child protection standards.
• Facilitate partnership management processes to improve church outcomes.
• Guide churches in developing and implementing locally owned strategies for youth engagement, resource mobilization, and decision‑making.
• Coordinate with Church Facing Team members to identify and engage change makers such as parents, schools, and peers.
• Support churches in mobilizing local resources and fostering alliances with nearby congregations.
• Coach junior facilitators and collaborate on moderately complex projects.

Required profile

• Commitment to child protection and Compassion’s Code of Conduct.
• Ability to work independently on moderately complex initiatives.
• Experience in partnership or community development within faith‑based settings.
• Strong relational skills to build trust and mutual respect with church partners.
• Understanding of developmental mindsets and capacity‑building principles.
