Fractional CTO - AI-Powered Ad Platform

About the role

Bublishing is a remote, worldwide, full-time or fractional Chief Technology Officer position reporting to the founder / CEO. The company has built a proprietary internal platform covering ad creation workflows, AI-powered compliance checking, performance analytics, contribution margin tracking, creative testing automation and AI-generated ad content. It needs a technical leader who understands both the technology and the business model, able to turn the platform into an AI-powered revenue engine.

Key responsibilities

• Own the platform vision, roadmap and architecture for the proprietary growth engine.
• Lead the engineering team: hiring, quality standards, delivery cadence and building autonomy.
• Define the AI strategy: creative ideation, automated ad generation, intelligent testing, cross-market translation and compliance automation.
• Ensure data integrity of contribution margin, attribution and performance data.
• Drive revenue acceleration through technology, with every project linked to measurable revenue impact.

Required profile

• Exceptionally sharp and fast learner, able to grasp the business model, marketing mechanics and platform within weeks.
• Understanding of marketing and advertising; experience with ecommerce, ad tech, martech or direct-response growth systems is a major bonus.
• Deeply AI-forward: uses AI coding agents, understands LLMs and envisions how AI transforms creative production.
• Able to lead a team and build, hands-on enough to architect systems and strategic enough to set direction.
• Nice to have: experience with internal tooling, growth platforms or creative workflow systems, and leading engineering in a fast-growth ecommerce or advertising environment.
