Educateur de Jeunes Enfants – Crèche

About the role

Babilou is looking for a qualified Early Childhood Educator (Educateur de Jeunes Enfants) to join one of its crèches. You will act as the pedagogical conductor, shaping the daily experiences of children and supporting families in a nurturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in the development and implementation of the crèche’s educational project.
• Build trusting relationships with families and act as their main point of contact.
• Ensure the learning space is well‑organized and introduce new activities that stimulate development.
• Lead the team in adopting best pedagogical practices.
• Support children’s affective, psychomotor and cognitive development.
• Engage in peer‑to‑peer meetings to share good practices.

Required profile

• Holder of the State Diploma for Early Childhood Educators (Diplôme d’État Educateur de Jeunes Enfants).
• Passion for early childhood education and a collaborative mindset.
• Ability to communicate effectively with families and team members.

Required skills

• Knowledge of early childhood pedagogical frameworks.
• Experience in planning and delivering age‑appropriate activities.
• Capability to manage a learning environment safely and creatively.
