Head of Marketing (Burkina Faso)

About the role

We are looking for a strategic and execution‑focused Head of Marketing to lead our growth in Burkina Faso. You will own the local marketing strategy, partner with senior leaders, and drive full‑funnel campaigns that support our mission to make Africa the first cashless continent.

Key responsibilities

• Define and own the local marketing strategy aligned with growth targets, market expansion, and brand ambition.
• Serve as the strategic marketing partner to the General Manager and functional leads (Operations, Sales, Support, Product).
• Lead marketing planning, budgeting, resource allocation, and ROI accountability.
• Collaborate with the group marketing team to align market, product, and brand strategies with global direction.
• Design and supervise ATL, BTL, and social media campaigns for Burkina Faso.
• Create clear processes and documentation to guide cross‑functional project delivery from ideation to launch.
• Lead market intelligence activities, including consumer insights, market analysis, brand health, and channel performance.

Required profile

• Degree in marketing, communication, business development, management or a related field.
• At least 12 years of marketing experience, including 5+ years in leadership roles with team management and budget ownership.
• Proven track record of leading large‑scale, multi‑channel marketing strategies with measurable results.
