Project Intern – LOGMe II (Sahel Landscape Initiative)

About the role

The LOGMe II project aims to strengthen restoration and livelihood opportunities across the Sahel. As a Project Intern, you will support the implementation of this initiative in Burkina Faso and Ghana, focusing on strategic partnerships, environmental governance and knowledge management.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct research and provide analytical input on land degradation, restoration and policy frameworks.
• Assist in coordinating stakeholder meetings, partnership activities and documentation of outcomes.
• Review national and regional policies and planning documents related to Land Degradation Neutrality.
• Support the preparation of reports, briefs and presentations for internal and external audiences.
• Maintain project databases, track deliverables and ensure timely administrative support.

Required profile

• Enrolled in or recent graduate of a relevant programme (environmental studies, natural resources, development policy, etc.).
• Strong interest in environmental governance, sustainable development and the Sahel region.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multi‑country, multicultural team.
