Managing Director – Fintech (Burkina Faso)

About the role

The Managing Director will lead PalmPay’s operations in Burkina Faso, driving sustainable growth, operational excellence, and regulatory compliance. This senior executive role requires a visionary leader with deep fintech experience to expand market share and deliver value to customers, investors, and stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the strategic growth agenda, expanding into new territories and partnerships.
• Oversee end‑to‑end business operations, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and high customer satisfaction.
• Deliver sustained financial growth and profitability, partnering with the executive team on budgeting and capital allocation.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with governments, regulators, financial institutions, and industry associations.
• Lead, inspire, and develop a world‑class management team while championing diversity and inclusion.

Required profile

• Fluent in English (oral and written).
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics or related field; MBA or equivalent advanced degree strongly preferred.
• 18+ years of progressive leadership experience, with at least 10 years in CEO, MD, or senior executive roles within fintech, banking, telecommunications, or multinational corporations.
• Proven success scaling high‑growth businesses in emerging markets.
