Liaison Officer – Burkina Faso

About the role

Starlite Aviation is seeking a reliable Liaison Officer to support its operations in Burkina Faso. The role acts as the primary communication bridge between the client and the company’s base team, ensuring smooth coordination of mission planning, logistics, and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the official communication channel between the client and Starlite’s base team.
• Relay mission planning details, requests, and feedback to the Operations General Manager.
• Maintain a professional, positive, and responsive relationship with the client and other mission stakeholders.
• Participate in meetings, gather information and ensure it reaches the appropriate base personnel.
• Support logistics coordination, scheduling, and documentation as required.
• Ensure base readiness for flight operations, including crew briefings, resource availability, and contingency planning.
• Monitor compliance with local and SACAA aviation regulations.
• Identify potential risks in aviation contracts and propose mitigation strategies.
• Track base expenditures to stay within budgetary limits.
• Address crew concerns and queries promptly and professionally.

Required profile

• Ability to manage logistics, documentation, and regulatory requirements.
• Experience in coordinating aviation or similar operational environments.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Required skills

• Knowledge of local and South African Civil Aviation Authority (SACAA) aviation regulations.
